Notice: The DF 520 works well with Anthracite or Hard Coal (Specifically, Anthracite Rice Coal). It is not intended for use with Soft or Bituminous Coal. Soft Coal will dramatically reduce the life and the effectiveness of the stoker mechanism and result in frequent failures.

• "Coal heat in winter, Oil heat (for hot water) in summer” with exclusive oil burner kit option.
• “Trombone” style copper hot water coil.
• Boiler shell is ASME designed and tested.
• Extended coil flanges and connections avoid hidden leaks.
• Stoker is ratchet and enclosed gear driven.
• Control and feed are fully automated.
• Firing rates from 2 ½ to 25 pounds of coal/hour. (21,470 to 214,690 BTUH)
• Optional oil kit fires at 1.5 gph (157,000 BTUH)
